Selfie’s in the air: wherever you go you’ll see people taking pics of themselves. Sometimes the question arises “What the hell are they doing with the phone in their hands!” All sorts of things. We live in the era of Iphoniacs and selfimen so what else can people do? Take a pause to pose. Everywhere! By all means! Anyway! There is a wide range of selfie types and I doubt the topic could be covered in this particular article. Here are represented the selfie types which seem to be the most popular and striking. Have fun!
No, really, people you are amazing! Just have a look at what they make up! Have you tried it all?
Here is number one in my personal scale of selfie types – the smelfie!
The term “smelfie” was introduced by Australian comedian Adam Hills who was the first to post on tweeter a selfie of himself with a dirty diaper. No wonder “smelfie” movement started immediately bringing Adam Hills more and more followers. The reason for this tendency remains unclear. You may only guess but it’s popular, guys!
The Just Woke Up Selfie
If you think you are cute enough to make a picture of yourself when the sun rays have just touched your beautiful face then this selfie type is definitely for you.
The Duckface Selfie
It would be abnormal if I didn’t mention this type of selfie in this short review. No special description required.
This one is invented by those who consider their bums perfect even when other people don’t share this opinion.
This one is supposed to be realistic which means it should look like a pet has taken a selfie himself. Our smaller brethren do not irritate as much as people do so it is a clever move to post them.
This term refers to couples who captured themselves before after or during sexual intimacy. Maybe this happens because of people’s desire to show that they do have sex. Maybe it’s a way to tag “this fellow is with me”.
The Seatbelt Selfie
If you think the whole world should know you have got a driving license this is your choice. Don’t forget to fasten your belt and drive safe. But take a selfie first.
could U explore sexism in selfies?
I’ll try to cover the topic if it’s possible.
You might want to take loads of selfies of yourself at a concert – ‘Look at me at the show!’ – but you’ll annoy other people intensely.
