We all remember wonderful books of a kind doctor who preferred treating animals to people, who understood them and even could talk to them. And now you’re, of course, asking yourselves how he’s connected with selfies. SO the answer is Allan Dixon!
A 29 year-old Irish man, Allan Dixon, is now famous through the Net by his incredible selfies with animals. In the virtual world he has earned the title of ‘real life Dr. Dollitle’. And after watching some photos through you’ll understand why.
He seems to befriend any animal he meets! And I’m guessing he has an animal language under his belt. Because if not, I even couldn’t imagine how he’s doing it! How he makes animals feel so save and relaxed with him?
In his interviews Allan told it could take ‘anywhere between five minutes to three hours of being in the animals presence’ to take a selfie. “It depends on the animal and how safe it feels. What the photos don’t show is the amount of dirt that ends up on my clothes because of being on the ground. But the results are worth it.”
And it’s difficult not to agree with him. Just look at these photos!
They are full of joy, delight and inspiration. They could become a source for mental treating. At least mood they could easily improve. Of course I couldn’t speak for everyone, but these photos keep me smiling all day long. But Allan Dixon doesn’t stop only with the Earth – he goes farther! Underwater selfies as well! It’s difficult to take an underwater selfie alone and with animal it’s almost impossible! But not for Allan!
And a piece of advice for people from Allan Dixon who want to take such selfies: “[they] should be very careful as to not upset or provoke the animal when they’re trying to take the photo. Gain the animal’s trust in a calm relaxed manner and the results will be golden. Make sure it’s not a crocodile.
So, if you’ll succeed don’t forget to share your photos with us in commentaries! Good luck!
